Chile Wine Tour Information

Wine & Gastronomy Tour

The Casablanca Valley, located one hour west of Santiago, is known for the production of white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Its cool climate and diversity of productive zones help in the adaptation of different varieties.

The past two years has seen the rise of significant gastronomic development, and a few of the local wineries have incorporated restaurants led by renowned Chilean chefs.

Winery visits include: Veramonte, Viñedos Orgánicos Emiliana, William Cole, Indómita, Viña Mar, Villard, Casas del Bosque, and others.

Program includes: Private transport with chauffeur and air conditioning, bilingual guide (Spanish-English), lunch and tour with wine tasting at Viña Veramonte, Viña William Cole or Viña Casas del Bosque.

• 9:00 am: Departure from hotel in Santiago.
• 10:00 am: Tour and wine tasting of two wines at Viña Veramonte.
• 12:00 noon: Tour and wine tasting of two wines at Viña William Cole or Viña Casas del Bosque.
• 1:30 pm: Lunch accompanied with wine in restaurant at Viña Indómita, Viña Mar, or Viña Morandé.
• 5:00 pm: Arrival at hotel in Santiago.

 

Wine & Nature Tour

The Aconcagua Valley, located approximately 1.5 hours north of Santiago, is known for its small and medium-sized wineries where the quality of their wines speak for themselves. Close to the La Campana National Park and the Termas de Jahuel hot springs, this valley invites outdoor activities.

Winery visits include: Errázuriz, Von Siebenthal, and San Esteban.

Program includes: Private, air-conditioned transportation with driver and bi-lingual guide (Spanish-English), lunch, visits and wine tastings at Viña Errázuriz and Viña San Esteban.

• 9:00 am: Departure from hotel in Santiago.
• 11:00 am: Tour of Viña Errázuriz, one of Chile’s most beautiful. The tour includes a visit to the original winemaking facility and a walk through the valley’s hillside vineyards.
• 1:00 pm: Lunch in an area restaurant with wine.
• 3:30 pm: Tour and wine tasting at Viña San Esteban. The unique vineyard and winery tour includes the opportunity to visit the ancient petroglyphs of an archaeological site on the winery property on
Paidahuen Hill.
• 7:00 pm: Arrival at hotel in Santiago.

Wine & Tradition Tour

The Maipo Valley, approximately one hour from Santiago, is home to traditional and modern wineries. Its red wines are world-renowned for the elegance of its Cabernet Sauvignons, the gentleness of its Carmenères, and the balance of its Syrahs.

Winery visits include: Odfjell, Aquitania, Pérez Cruz, De Martino, Antiyal, Almaviva, Haras de Pirque, El Principal, Tarapacá, Concha y Toro, Cousiño Macul, Santa Rita, and others.

Program includes: Private air-conditionated transportation with driver, bi-lingual guide (Spanish-English), visits and wine tastings at Viña Aquitania and Viña Concha y Toro.

• 10:00 am: Departure from hotel in Santiago.
• 11:00 am: Tour and wine tasting of 2 wines at Viña Aquitania, a small exclusive vineyard that produces high quality wines.
• 1:00 pm: Lunch.
• 3:30 pm: Tour and wine tasting of 3 wines at Viña Concha y Toro.
• 6:00 pm: Arrival at hotel in Santiago.

Wine & Eco-Tourism Tour

The Curicó and Maule Valleys, located 250 km (155 miles) south of Santiago in the southernmost sector of Chile’s long Central Valley, are known for their diversity of soils and climates for the production of both red and white wines.

The wineries in these two valleys have a great interest for lovers of agro-tourism as they can complement a visit with outdoor activities such as visits to national parks or colonial villages.

Winery visits include: Requingua, San Pedro, Miguel Torres, Echeverría, La Fortuna, Aresti, AltaCima, Tabontinaja, J. Bouchon, Carpe Diem, Balduzzi, Carta Vieja, Calina (Kendall Jackson), Casa Donoso, Hugo Casanova, Terranoble, and others.

Program includes: Private transport with air conditioning and chauffeur, bilingual guide (Spanish - English), lodging in Agro-resort at Viña Tabontinaja (4 stars) with breakfast, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, winery visits and wine tasting.

1st Day

• 8:30 am: Departure from hotel in Santiago.
• 11:00 am: Tour and wine tasting at Viña San Pedro, where the vineyards are visited and we go up to a good view point.
• 2:00 pm: Lunch with wine at Viña Miguel Torres
• 4:00 pm: Tour and wine tasting at Viña Calina (Kendall Jackson).
• Check in Agro-resort at Viña Tabontinaja.
• Dinner with wine at Viña Tabontinaja.

2nd day

• Breakfast.
• 10:00 am: Tour at Viña Tabontinaja and its surroundings.
• 1:00 pm: Lunch with wine at Viña Tabontinaja
• Free afternoon.
• Dinner with wine at Viña Tabontinaja.

3rd day

• Breakfast.
• Check out Agro-resort Viña Tabontinaja.
• 10:00 am: Tour and wine tasting at Viña Casa Donoso.
• 1:00 pm: Lunch with wine at typical Chilean restaurant.
• 8:00 pm: Arrival at hotel in Santiago.
